PEARLY KING MEETS AND GREETS (LONDON'S OTHER ROYALTY)
the tradition of Pearly Kings and Queens in London is something i have next to no knowledge about
but believe all the boroughs within the city have their own 'pearlies'. This particular Pearly King's
jacket and cap is festooned not only with the usual sequined glitter but also various England logos
which is quite coincidental as i'm adding this photo - which is some years old now - just as England's
football team are out in South Africa gearing up to bring home the World Cup 2010. They've just
played their first match against the U.S.A and drew 1-1
