CUTTY SARK CLIPPER SHIP (GREENWICH)
one of the main attractions in Greenwich, the Cutty Sark clipper no longer
looks as it does in the photo below. A fire - originally thought to be arson
but changed to accidental reduced the much loved ship to burnt embers
from the footage i remember seeing on the news. Many hundreds of
thousands of pounds and perhaps £millions is funding a restoration of
the famous wood ship so it can be restored to its former glory. As of 2010
it is still hidden from public view and there's little news of the progress
